Cancellations

‍ Weather is the main factor for rescheduling UAV/Drone projects. We monitor the weather in the days and weeks leading up to the project date. If the project needs to be rescheduled due to weather, the deposit can be transferred to another suitable date, subject to agreement between NIBYSKY and the customer. If an alternative date cannot be agreed, the deposit is non-refundable. If NIBYSKY recommends rescheduling for safety reasons, but the client insists on proceeding, payment is required for the day, even if footage cannot be recorded.

If the client cancels the project date within 7 days, the deposit will not be refunded. 

Hours Rates & Payment

‍Full day rate - 8 hour day, and will include travel.

Half day rate - 4 hours and again travel is included in this.

Licensing and Copyright

‍NIBYSKY retains copyright ownership of all projects, materials, and services, and can use them for promotional purposes, reuse, sell, and submit to stock libraries. However, we won't release any material before the client publishes it. Clients may use the material for their own business use, but cannot sell or release it to third parties without NIBYSKY's written permission. If the client wants to sell or permit third-party use, a contract must be signed with agreed terms and payment.

Filming/Photography Specifications

‍Equipment and software details are available upon request. If no filming standard is agreed upon, we'll capture footage at 1080p/30fps, and stills will be taken in raw DNG for aerial shots. All materials are saved on SD cards and then transferred to NIBYSKY storage system.

Survey & Inspection

NIBYSKY does not possess any training or qualification as a quantity surveyor, structural or mechanical engineer. The client is responsible for analysing and interpreting the data we provide, and any decision made based on that analysis or interpretation is the sole responsibility of the client. NIBYSKY can refer the client to contractors for data interpretation if needed.

What we expect from you

Provide us with all relevant details and information. Our team will use a checklist and ask specific questions to ensure safe and informed decisions are made. It is necessary for us to obtain written permission from landowners for takeoff and landing on their property. Please ensure that such permission is provided in writing or via email.

Pilot in Command

NIBYSKY is trained by a recognized training provider aligned with the Civil Aviation Authority in the UK for operating Drones/UAV/RPAS. The pilot will make the final decision on-site regarding the operation and will conduct the flight in compliance with legal requirements. Sometimes, flights may be restricted by Air Traffic Control/Police service of Northern Ireland or any relevant agency beyond NIBYSKY's control. Safety and legality are paramount for all operations.

Insurance

NIBYSKY possesses comprehensive Public Liability and Public Indemnity Insurance, which can be made available for inspection upon request.

Your information will only be used for the purpose it was intended, unless we obtain your explicit permission to use it for other purposes.‍
